The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports:
“A total of 130 homes were sold in Adams County in the first three months of 2012, a 6% increase from 2011. In York County 759 homes were sold in 2012, a 10% increase from 2011.
The median sales price in Adams County was $149,995, a 1% decrease from last year.
The median sale price in York County was $132,500, which is practically unchanged from 2011.”
“The overall numbers continue to be encouraging although we are not quite ready to proclaim a trend. We are concerned about sales statistics for York City. Clearly property tax reform is needed,” stated John LeCates RAYAC President. He added, “The median sales price is only a reflection of the homes which sold during this time frame.”
