A total of 1794 homes were sold in 2012 in York County, an 7% increase from last year. Dover and Southern school district having the largest increase (6%) in sales price. Northern with the largest increase (66%) in homes sold, 53 compared to 32 in 2011.
June 2012 Housing Stats
383 homes were sold in June 2012, an 11% increase over last year. The median sales price in York County was $151,000, a 3% increase from 2011. This is the first time in 2012 the statistics have reflected an increase in both the median home sales price and number of home sales in York County.
Southern school district having the largest increase (31%) $244,500 compared to $187,000 in June 2011. Northern with the largest increase (433%) in homes sold, 16 compared to 3 in June 2011.
