The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports that a total of 1,143 homes were sold in York County the first four months of 2013, a 7% increase from 2012. The median sales price was $135,000, unchanged from 2012.
Third month in a row with West Shore school district having the largest increase (60%) in sales price $166,900 compared to $104,450 last year. As well as the largest increase (53%) in homes sold, 49 compared to 32 in 2012.
April 2012/April 2013 Comparison Housing Stats for York and Adams County
In York County 291 homes were sold in April 2013, a 1% decrease from 2012. The median sales price was $134,900, a 6% decrease from 2012.
South Western school district having the largest sales increase (52%) $220,950 compared to $145,000 in April 2012. West Shore with the largest increase (157%) in homes sold, 18 compared to 7 in April 2012. Read more
