2014 Year End Housing Stats for York and Adams County

January 1-December 31, 2014 Monthly Comparison
The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports that a total
of 916 homes were sold in Adams County in 2014, a 7% decrease from 2013. In York County 4,531 homes were sold in 2014, a 3% increase from 2013.
The median sales price in Adams County was $167,750, a 2% increase over last year.
The median sale price in York County was $149,900, a 3% increase from 2013.

December 2013/December 2014 Comparison Housing Stats for York and Adams County
The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports that a total of 80 homes were sold in Adams County in December 2014, a 3% decrease from 2013. In York County 384 homes were sold in December 2014, a 10% increase from 2013.
The median sales price in Adams County was $172,450, a 4% decrease from last year. The median sale price in York County was $149,950, a 3% increase from 2013. Read more

January 1-November 30, 2014 Monthly Comparison
The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports that a total
of 825 homes were sold in Adams County through the end of November 2014, an 8%
decrease from 2013. In York County 4,110 homes were sold in the same time period,
a 3% increase from 2013.

Eureka Carnival

Eureka Volunteer Fire Department will hold it’s annual carnival starting July 14th through the 19th.

• Rides, good food, games for all ages.

• Cowchip Bingo and drawings for prizes.

• Special ride all night for one price will be held Monday through Saturday.

• Parade at 4:30 pm on Saturday the 19th!

The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports that a total of 808 homes were sold in York County, a 3% decrease from 2013. The median sales price was s $139,997, a 4% increase from 2013. York City school district having the largest increase (60%) in sales price and South Western with the largest increase (51%) in homes sold, compared to last year.

March 2013/March 2014 Comparison Housing Stats for York and Adams County
In York County 285 homes were sold in March 2014, a 20% decrease from 2014. The median sales price was $139,900, a 7% increase from 2014. York City school district having the largest sales increase (60%).
Northeastern had the largest increase (44%) in homes sold compared to last March 2013.

September 2013 Housing Stats for York and Adams County

January 1-September 30, 2013 Monthly Comparison

The REALTORS Association of York & Adams Counties (RAYAC) reports that a total of 3,264 homes were sold in York County the first nine months of 2013, a 16% increase from 2012. The median sales price was $145,000, a 4% increase from 2012. Red Lion school district having the largest increase (11%) in sales price $148,000 compared to $133,000 last year. Eastern with the largest increase (41%) in homes sold, 135 compared to 96 in 2012.

September 2012/September 2013 Comparison Housing Stats for York and Adams County In York County 323 homes were sold in September 2013, a 21% increase from 2012. The median sales price was $144,900, a 7% decrease from 2012. Eastern York school district having the largest sales increase (57%) $137,450 compared to $87,350 in September 2012. Both South Eastern and South Western had the largest increase (67%) in homes sold, South Eastern sold 20 compared to 12 sold in September 2012 and South Western sold 30 compared to 18 sold in September 2012.Read more…
